Artist: Fyrm Fouroux
Readings from his novel Harold Hake, here is an extract:
Harold Hake is a middle-aged psychologist who teaches at a minor university in the North of England. In the first episode we first meet Harold as he wakes up in bed, hazily recalling an erotic dream he had in the night. He then thinks about the party he had been to the previous evening where he had met up with his old friend Anthea, the aroma therapist. We briefly glimpse Veronica, his ascerbic wife, but not for long, since Harold quickly has breakfast and goes off to his job at the university campus. There, while checking his email, he finds one from the university Vice-Chancellor and he knows that this will be about a voluntary redundancy offer. He does not read it there and then. Instead he prints it off and drives out to the coast where he can look at it in private. He needs to think about it in a tranquil setting.
April Sunday 19th
Time: Noon
Artist: JeanChristopher Chevalier
Born in France in 1961, Jean-Christophe comes from a family of musicians. His parents took his name from Romain Rolland's character, a child from a modest family background who becomes a famous pianist.
In his case it's the guitar rather than the piano! He studied music at the University of Rouen and graduated in Musicology. He also studied Composing and Electro-acoustics at the National Music School of Dieppe.
Eclectic at heart, dabbling in everything, he mixes styles in an unlikely cross-breeding: Classical music, Celtic, Blues, Pop, Electro-acoustics... He is in love with the sound, in search of the absolute purity, the crystal simplicity which gives his music a force and a transparency able to transport the soul.
April Sunday 19th

Artist: Russell Eponym
(Russell Taylor Ashby) is an acoustic folk and blues singer who has been playing guitar and singing almost all his life. He truly believes that when it comes to music, a person never stops learning and discovering new horizons.
Primarily influenced by Bert Jansch, Bob Dylan and Mark Knopfler, Russell has played throughout the years in bands of many genres: rock, punk, jazz and folk and as a solo artist and street singer in London, Paris, and Vienna.
In addition to performing his own work, he sings a multitude of songs by well-known artists such as Dylan, Donovan and Ralph McTell.
His versatile and accomplished guitar playing and his ability with mandolin, banjo and harmonica create a gig that you simply don't want to miss. Russell's unique sound is characterized by his meticulous fingerpicking style, his soft, lulling voice, and charming British stage presence.
Russell was one of the first live performers in SL and was a regular player at many of the top venues.
Russell is truly the eponymous hero of his own life story!
